Diane Boutin

May 31, 1961 | September 8, 2025
Saint-Eustache

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Ms. Diane Boutin on September 8, 2025.

She is survived by her beloved spouse Denis, her daughters Véronique (Frédéric) and Annie (Guillaume), as well as her eight cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Pierre (Josée) and Fernand (Louise), as well as several members of her family, friends and loved ones who will remember her as a generous, combative and devoted woman.

A moment of meditation will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Second Life Forest.
The family will receive you from 12:00 to 13:00, followed by the ceremony around 13:00 and rooting around 13:30.

On this occasion, the family chose to root an oak tree, a symbol of peace and living memory. This tree will carry Diane's presence within it and will grow as a lasting testimony to her love and strength.

The family would like to sincerely thank everyone who has shown support and comfort during this difficult time.

It will remain in our hearts forever.

In memory of Diane, those who wish can express their sympathy by making a donation to the SLA Quebec Foundation, in order to support research and progress towards a world without ALS.

What is the Second Life Forest?

Take root in your lifetime | Second Life Forest

Ecoforest cemetery

The Forest of the Second Life is a Ecoforest cemetery; an alternative solution to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.

Unique concept in Quebec

We are up to date The only location in Quebec, among all those who have the necessary authorizations for the burial of the ashes, to have added to our project a forest conservation easement to ensure, forever, the preservation and protection of the forest.

Future generations

Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by allowing them to dedicate their second life to the benefit of the next generations. The reforestation initiative The Second Life Forest makes it possible to capture up to 175 tons of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
