Gisèle Beaucage
It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of Gisèle Beaucage, who died on October 17, 2026, in Saint-Jérôme.
She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Marie-Claude and Emilie, as well as their partners, Jean-François and Hugo, whom she loved deeply. She also leaves her grandson, Jérémi, who held a very special place in her heart and of whom she was so proud, as well as her precious sister, Christiane, godmother to her two daughters.
She is also survived by her sister Micheline (and Gilles) and her brothers Jean-Pierre (and dear Loulou) and Michel. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving, generous, and principled woman who touched their lives in her own unique way.
A time of reflection will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Forêt de la Seconde Vie, located at 835, chemin de l’Achigan Est, in Sainte-Sophie.
Her daughters wish to thank the palliative and end-of-life care team at the Saint-Jérôme hospital from the bottom of their hearts, especially Dr. Julia Vallières-Pilon, for her humanity, her attentiveness, and her compassionate support.
They also wish to express their gratitude to those who made a real difference over the past few years: Isabelle Gagnon (social worker), Dr. Stéphane Richard-Devantoy, Dr. Sébastien Clément-Major, Dr. Danielle Michaud, Dr. Isabelle Arsenault, Dr. Mélanie Arbour-Levert, Dr. Anne-Sophie Gauthier-Paré, and the entire team at Manoir Les Retrouvailles in Saint-Jérôme. Beyond the medical care, it was the acts of kindness, comforting words, attentiveness, and respect that made all the difference; her daughters will remain deeply grateful for this.
In memory of Gisèle, those who wish to express their sympathy may make a donation to the Association québécoise pour le droit de mourir dans la dignité (AQDMD), to support its mission.
