It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jean-François Letellier on July 19, 2026.
He is survived by his daughter, Maéva Letellier, and his parents, Ginette and Daniel Letellier. He also leaves behind his sister, his nephews, and many other family members, friends, and loved ones who will remember him as a great athlete, a social person, and a man of passion. His smile and warm personality will leave an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the good fortune to cross his path.
The family has chosen to plant an American Linden tree in his memory. This tree will carry Jean-François’s presence and grow as a lasting testament to his love and strength.
The family will welcome relatives and friends on August 30, 2026, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Forêt de la seconde vie, located at 835, chemin de l’Achigan Est, in Sainte-Sophie.
For those who would like more information or to find out the location where JF rests, please contact his sister, Janique Letellier.

The Forest of the Second Life is a Ecoforest cemetery; an alternative solution to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.
We are up to date The only location in Quebec, among all those who have the necessary authorizations for the burial of the ashes, to have added to our project a forest conservation easement to ensure, forever, the preservation and protection of the forest.
Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by allowing them to dedicate their second life to the benefit of the next generations. The reforestation initiative The Second Life Forest makes it possible to capture up to 175 tons of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
