We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Stéphane Paquin on May 5, 2026. He is survived by his beloved partner Julie Lampron, his son Kevin Paquin (Anne Sirois), and his two cherished grandchildren Livia and Lou Paquin. He is also survived by his parents Jean-Guy and Diane Paquin, his brother Christian Paquin (Nancy De Luca), his in-laws, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, his niece, as well as many family members, friends, and loved ones who will remember him as a generous, involved, and devoted person.
A gathering will be held on May 22, 2026, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., at the Forêt de la Seconde Vie. The family warmly invites you to join them in paying a final tribute to Stéphane. This will be a time to gather, share memories, celebrate his life, and accompany him one last time, surrounded by those who loved him.
On this occasion, the family has chosen to plant a tree, a symbol of peace and living memory. This tree will embody Stéphane's presence and grow as a lasting testament to his love and strength. The planting of this tree will be done intimately by the immediate family.
The family sincerely thanks everyone who has offered their support and comfort during these difficult times. He will forever remain in our hearts.

The Forest of the Second Life is a Ecoforest cemetery; an alternative solution to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.
We are up to date The only location in Quebec, among all those who have the necessary authorizations for the burial of the ashes, to have added to our project a forest conservation easement to ensure, forever, the preservation and protection of the forest.
Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by allowing them to dedicate their second life to the benefit of the next generations. The reforestation initiative The Second Life Forest makes it possible to capture up to 175 tons of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
