The American Honey locust is a tree that is not afraid to stand out. Like some humans, it's made for demanding tasks. Thanks to its very hard wood, it was used in the manufacture of railway ties but also in shipbuilding. It must be believed that it is a wood that does not fear hard work and that has allowed humans to nourish their taste.
All aspects of this tree are meant to be impressive, starting with its height of up to 30 meters. It bears falling leaves composed of 20 to 30 leaflets* each. It forms gigantic pods that are easily noticeable from afar. It is also provided with large thorns in order, once again, to demonstrate its power. The thornless variation of the honey locust is mostly used as a decorative tree in urban environments. Native to North America, it is known to adapt to any condition. Regardless of the soil, the temperature or the weather, it still grows like a colossus.
This tree represents strength and adventure.
