In several cultures around the world, we find the use of Sorbus essences. In ancient Greece, these trees were planted in front of houses because they represented protection against misfortunes and dangers. This practice is also found among the Irish. This feeling of protection it provides comes from the fact that the fruit is decorated with a pentagram. In esotericism, it is a symbol of protection.

As its name suggests, American mountain ash is native to North America. It can reach heights of 8 to 10 meters and forms a narrow crown. It produces beautiful large sizes of white flowers which, once pollinated, give orange-red fruits. It has large leaves composed of 11 to 17 leaflets*. It is distinguished in the forest by its bark with metallic reflections. It attracts a good number of birds as well as small and larger mammals that feed on its berries and foliage.
