Diane Sauvé obituary
1955 — 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Diane Sauvé on August 5, 2025.

She is survived by her husband Benoit, her children Fanny (Kevin), Kim (Jason), Kim (Jason) and Martin (Karine), her grandchildren Manoel, Bastien, Antoine and Jakob, as well as several family members and friends who will remember her as a warm, strong and bright woman.

To pay tribute to him, the family chose to root a Ginkgo biloba tree in the Second Life Forest on September 6, 2025 at 1 pm.

A place of living memory and serenity, the Second Life Forest allows those who leave us to continue living in the heart of nature, contributing to a healthy and sustainable ecosystem.

Ginkgo biloba, a sacred tree known for its longevity and resilience, symbolizes strength, eternity and the link between generations. It will henceforth bear the memory of Diane.

We invite you to join us for this moment of meditation in kind. The family asks not to send flowers, but rather to donate to the Alzheimer Society of Laurentides (alzheimerlaurentides.com) and/or, to the Canadian Cancer Society (cancer.ca).

What is the Second Life Forest?

Take root in your lifetime | Second Life Forest

Ecoforest cemetery

The Forest of the Second Life is a Ecoforest cemetery; an alternative solution to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.

Unique concept in Quebec

We are up to date The only location in Quebec, among all those who have the necessary authorizations for the burial of the ashes, to have added to our project a forest conservation easement to ensure, forever, the preservation and protection of the forest.

Future generations

Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by allowing them to dedicate their second life to the benefit of the next generations. The reforestation initiative The Second Life Forest makes it possible to capture up to 175 tons of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
