Éric Fradet

November 15, 1967 | July 28, 2025
St-Agathe

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Éric Fradet (1967—2025). He left us last July 28, gently and surrounded by love.

Around Eric revolved a large circle of loved people. He will be deeply missed by his life partner, France Lebel, who supported him until the end, as well as by his beloved children: Kim (Louis), Laurie (Pierre-Luc) and Vincent (Anabelle). It will also have marked the lives of children in France: Florence (Jean-Philippe), Florence (Jean-Philippe), François (Valérie) and Yannick (Vanessa) and their toddlers.

He is also survived by his mother, Jocelyne Leclair (André), his sister Nathalie (Daniel), his nieces Lyane, Audrey and Marilyne, the mother of his children, Sophie Tremblay, and his brothers at heart, and his brothers at heart, Guy Lalonde and Éric Robichaud. His departure will weigh on his large tribe of friends, cousins, uncles, aunts, colleagues and members of his in-laws.

In accordance with his wishes, his ashes will rest under a ginkgo biloba tree, a tree that symbolizes peace and resilience, which will be planted in the Second Life Forest.

We will give a final nod to Eric on Saturday September 20, 2025. We will grieve his absence, of course, but we will certainly laugh when we think back to his well-placed repartee. We will welcome you under the tent from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. You will also have the opportunity to take a moment by his tree. It will be an outdoor and friendly day. So opt for comfortable clothes: Éric was not very interested in conventions... or on ties.

Finally, the family wishes to highlight the exceptional quality of care, both humane and diligent, offered by the palliative care teams at the CLSC de Piedmont and the Sainte-Agathe-Des-Monts Hospital.

What is the Second Life Forest?

Take root in your lifetime | Second Life Forest

Ecoforest cemetery

The Forest of the Second Life is a Ecoforest cemetery; an alternative solution to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.

Unique concept in Quebec

We are up to date The only location in Quebec, among all those who have the necessary authorizations for the burial of the ashes, to have added to our project a forest conservation easement to ensure, forever, the preservation and protection of the forest.

Future generations

Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by allowing them to dedicate their second life to the benefit of the next generations. The reforestation initiative The Second Life Forest makes it possible to capture up to 175 tons of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
