It is with sadness that we announce the death of Ms. Francine Couvrette, which occurred on May 9, 2026.
Francine is survived by her son Nicolas and her daughter Mélissa;
his stepdaughter Laura and his son-in-law Simon;
his grandchildren Charlie, Juliette, Michaël and Nathan;
as well as her brothers, sisters, parents and friends who will remember her as a deeply loved and appreciated woman.
The family will welcome you on June 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Second Life Forest to receive your condolences and to share a moment of meditation in their memory.
A tribute ceremony will take place from 14:30 to 16:00.
Francine leaves behind a great wealth of memories imbued with love, gentleness and kindness. Her presence has marked the lives of many people, and her memory will live on in all those who had the chance to meet her.
To mark his passage among us and honor his memory, a Ginkgo biloba will be rooted, a symbol of peace, longevity and resilience. Through this living tree, his memory will continue to grow and pass through time.
Francine did not want flowers. Donations can be made to Maison PalliaVie St-Jérôme, a place where she received free accommodation, care and support with kindness, humanity and compassion. Thanks to donations and volunteers, she was able to be surrounded by kindness until the end. You never know, maybe someone close to you or even yourself will one day need these valuable services.
The ceremony will take place outside. Please bring appropriate clothing and an umbrella in case of rain.
The family sincerely thanks everyone who will offer their support, thoughts, and presence during this time of mourning.

The Forest of the Second Life is a Ecoforest cemetery; an alternative solution to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.
We are up to date The only location in Quebec, among all those who have the necessary authorizations for the burial of the ashes, to have added to our project a forest conservation easement to ensure, forever, the preservation and protection of the forest.
Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by allowing them to dedicate their second life to the benefit of the next generations. The reforestation initiative The Second Life Forest makes it possible to capture up to 175 tons of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
