Jocelyne Monette - Death Notice

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Jocelyne Monette, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 81.

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her loved ones. Until her last moments, Jocelyne displayed remarkable strength, admirable resilience, and exemplary dignity. Her courage in the face of adversity will remain a source of inspiration for all who had the privilege of knowing her and sharing a part of their lives with her.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Yannik, her cherished granddaughter, Celya, and her dear son-in-law, Luc. She also leaves behind her brothers, Clarence and Yves, and their wives, Anne-Marie and Aline, who will remember her as a deeply loving and generous woman.

Her loyal friends, Brigitte and Marc, who accompanied her with affection and devotion until the end, will also cherish an everlasting memory of her presence and kindness.

Jocelyne leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and tenderness that will continue to live on in the hearts of all she touched.

Details of the memorial service will be announced shortly.

Rest in peace, Mom. Your love, strength, and light will continue to guide us every day. We will miss you dearly. I love you.

What is the Second Life Forest?

Take root in your lifetime | Second Life Forest

Ecoforest cemetery

The Forest of the Second Life is a Ecoforest cemetery; an alternative solution to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.

Unique concept in Quebec

We are up to date The only location in Quebec, among all those who have the necessary authorizations for the burial of the ashes, to have added to our project a forest conservation easement to ensure, forever, the preservation and protection of the forest.

Future generations

Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by allowing them to dedicate their second life to the benefit of the next generations. The reforestation initiative The Second Life Forest makes it possible to capture up to 175 tons of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
