Sylvie Roy

February 19, 1963 | October 14, 2025
Saint-Jérôme

It is with great sadness and love that we announce the death of Mrs. Sylvie Roy, on October 14, 2025, after a courageous fight against cancer.

A woman of heart, strong and luminous, she leaves behind a trace of love that nothing will erase.
She is survived by her spouse Dany Lafrance, her children Cidjy Latreille, Sabrina Lafrance and Steven Latreille, her sisters Linda Roy and Carole Roy, as well as her precious grandchildren, whom she deeply cherished.

Sylvie faced the disease with gentleness, courage and dignity, continuing to offer smiles and love to those around her.

According to his wishes, his ashes will be rooted at the foot of a serviceberry tree, in the Forest of the Second Life, at a later date.
May this tree become a symbol of the quiet strength, tenderness and light that it has sown in our lives.

Her love will continue to grow through us, like the roots of this tree that will always carry her

What is the Second Life Forest?

Take root in your lifetime | Second Life Forest

Ecoforest cemetery

The Forest of the Second Life is a Ecoforest cemetery; an alternative solution to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.

Unique concept in Quebec

We are up to date The only location in Quebec, among all those who have the necessary authorizations for the burial of the ashes, to have added to our project a forest conservation easement to ensure, forever, the preservation and protection of the forest.

Future generations

Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by allowing them to dedicate their second life to the benefit of the next generations. The reforestation initiative The Second Life Forest makes it possible to capture up to 175 tons of carbon from the atmosphere each year.
